Arts and crafts enthusiasts can’t wait for Echoed Art & Design Studio to open in Pine Market this summer.
Owner Stephanie Russ said the store will be a 2,000-square-foot arts and crafts supplies store where you can buy all your basic crafting supplies. There will also be a 400-square-foot party room in the back where you can host everything from Girl Scout crafting badge nights to Girl’s Night Out (BYOB).
“Echoed Art is special because it will serve people of all ages and different needs,” Russ said. “Whether you are shopping for fun or for supplies for your small craft business, we will have what you need. “
Russ has been passionate about art and crafting since she was young. She holds at bachelor’s degree of fine arts in interior design with a minor in architecture.
“I spent many years in art classes being creative and in design studios building models,” she said. “I love to do all things creative. I love to share my passion and mingle with like-minded people of all ages. “
She chose to open Echoed Art in Pine Market to make it more convenient for crafters, artists and families to get the supplies they need.
“Woodforest is positioned in such a unique location, where you’re not far from everything but at the same time tucked away from the busy cities that surround us,” Russ said. “Currently, there isn’t a convenient store to get arts and crafts supplies. As a mom myself, I know how precious time is to young families who are working on school projects or just trying to entertain the family.”
In addition to providing craft supplies Russ eventually hopes to offer art classes and other opportunities.
“We have a few business services in the works that we will be excited to reveal in the future,” she said. “I’m excited to be able to offer a local source to crafters and network with artists!”
Russ is excited to open a space where creative people can come together.
“I want people to know that Echoed Art will be so much more than just an art supply store,” she said. “It will be a place to come to get creative, share ideas and make things. It will be a place for people to make new friends, network and collaborate.”
We can’t wait for Echoed Art & Design Studio to open! We’re already planning our art projects.
